NCMCA and industry members, Ryan organized a very success-
ful Masonry Education Day in November that brought over 500
students from 25 high schools out for a day of masonry tutorials,
demonstrations, lunch, competitions, and to watch the SPEC MIX
BRICKLAYER 500 Carolina regional. The students received an
important introduction to masonry and to masonry people. Count-
ing students, masonry industry representatives, teachers, school
and other government officials, more than 1,000 people were in
attendance.

The North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association has made
a huge commitment to training and recruitment that will make a
positive difference to both NCMCA members and non-members
